Nuwakot. David Fisher, Head of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) in Nepal, visited the flood-affected areas of Nuwakot to assess the situation following the floods in Rasuwa.
During the visit, he learned about the humanitarian services being provided by Nepal Red Cross Society volunteers, including search and rescue, first aid, relief distribution, temporary shelter and food assistance, and dead body management.
Fisher also met with the District Disaster Management Committee(DDMC) and other relevant stakeholders to understand the post-flood situation, immediate needs, and requirements for long-term support.
